Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz will unveil a Computer Lab for Morrison/Lafayette Senior Center and A Sound System for Erma Cava Senior Center
Bronx, NY- As the Chair of the Aging Committee, Senator Rubén Díaz takes pride in helping meet the needs of the Senior Centers in his District as well as throughout the state. On Friday, September 10, 2010 two senior centers in the Bronx will be receiving much needed equipment.
First, at 12:00 p.m. Senator Díaz will be visiting the Erma Cava Senior Center, located at 887 Southern Blvd. in the Bronx, to bring a much needed Sound System, that the seniors can use to have their activities, parties, social Fridays, meetings/conferences, etc., avoiding the cost of a DJ.
Second, at 2:00 p.m. Senator Díaz will be visiting the Morrison/Lafayette Senior Center at 825 Morrison Avenue (bet. Story Ave. & Lafayette Ave.) to dedicate a Computer Lab, which will give the seniors the opportunity to learn how to use the internet to pay bills, communicate with others and so much more.
Senator Díaz said, “it brings me great pleasure to be able to provide for the seniors of my community and around the state.”
