Senator Rubén Díaz Donates 32 State-of-the-Art Laptops to Students in the Bronx
State Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz (D-Bronx) along with Ms. Lillian Rodríguez López, President of the Hispanic Federation, and Ms. Estelle Hans, Principal of the Collegiate Institute of Math and Science located at 925 Astor Avenue in the Bronx, will unveil a new computer lab for the students of the Collegiate Institute for Math and Science on Thursday, April 22 at 1:00 pm.
The new computer lab will house 32 brand new state-of-the-art laptops and two (2) computer carts to facilitate their mobility throughout the school. “I am pleased to be able to provide these state-of-the art laptops for the students of the Collegiate Institute for Math and Science,” stated Senator Díaz.
“In the 21st century, computers are a necessity, not a luxury, and I have no doubt that this new equipment will do much to aid the students in their educational endeavors,” he concluded.
