THREE KINGS WILL VISIT BRONX CHILDREN

Bronx Borough President Rubén Díaz, Jr., New York State Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz, Assemblyman Marcos Crespo, Affinity Health Plan and the New York Hispanic Clergy Organization, will be celebrating the visit of the Three Kings. The first 1000 children, between the ages of 1 and 9 years of age, will receive a free gift.

For the past ten years, Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz has celebrated the visit of the Three King's Balthazar, Melchior, and Gaspar. The event, celebrated annually among Latin American countries, commemorates the Three King’s visit to the birth place of Baby Jesus.  We celebrate it to bring joy to the poor children of our communities.

This year’s celebration will take place on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 12:00 noon in the auditorium of P.S. 5, located at the corner of Jackson Avenue and 149th Street in The Bronx.  Everyone is invited.  To receive the gift, the child must be present.
