Dear Friends:
So many of us want to show our appreciation for our troops – for their dedication and their service. I am often asked by members of the community how they can help. My office in Poughkeepsie and the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office are serving as collection sites for various items needed for the men and women serving our country. I am working with an area organization, Semper Fi Parents of the Hudson Valley, a registered state charity (501c(3) not-for-profit) who will ship the items to military personnel. If you are able to contribute to this effort, our service men and women would appreciate any of the following items. Your participation in this endeavor is genuinely welcomed.
Sincerely,
Senator Steve Saland
