In recognition of his support of local farmers, the New York Farm Bureau has named Senator Bill Larkin (R-C, Cornwall-on-Hudson) to their "Circle of Friends" for the 2010 Legislative Session.
"This award is a great honor for me," said Senator Larkin. "I am proud to be included in the Farm Bureau's "Circle of Friends" and fully support our local farmers. The hard work and dedication shown by our farm families is one of the reasons New York farms are among the best in the nation. Our farm products consistently rank among the highest nationwide in quality and this is due to the strong work ethic and pride shown by all New York farmers," said Larkin.
The Farm Bureau awards the "Circle of Friends" designation to those legislators who have a record of voting on issues of importance to agriculture and their support of farm families.
