Senator Stachowski Honors Tim Hortons 25 Years Of Exemplary Service
Senator William Stachowski joined local Tim Hortons owner Tina Laity, and members of her staff on hand Thursday, February 11, 2010, at the Tim Hortons restaurant located at 1610 Walden Avenue in Cheektowaga, to honor Tim Hortons with a proclamation for 25 years of successful expansion, local ownership, thousands of employees, millions of customers, many sponsored sports programs, countless community donations, and hundreds of thousands raised to support Womens and Childrens Hospital.
From one restaurant in Buffalo, New York, to more than 550 locations in twelve states, Tim Hortons has expanded greatly during since the original location in the United States, located here in Buffalo, New York, 25 years ago.
Tim Hortons is also connected to the Buffalo area through its late founder Tim Horton, who wore number the 2 and played defense for the Buffalo Sabres.
The proclamation celebrated almost 25 years to the day, that the first cup of coffee was served, Tim Hortons will receive a special proclamation to commend the celebration of 25 years of exemplary service to the community.
