Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently invited Kennedy High School Senior Daniel Rabinowitz to spend several weeks working in his district office as part of the School’s “Senior Experience.”
Kennedy’s “Senior Experience” is a unique hands-on program which allows graduating seniors to choose a field of interest and work with professionals in that field. During the course of the program, students learn about the daily routines and challenges in a specific line of business while gaining knowledge of the particular requirements involved.
Daniel, who resides in Merrick and will be attending the University of Pennsylvania in the fall, assisted Senator Fuschillo and his staff with a number of different constituent service and community outreach programs. In addition, Daniel performed research for legislation and outreach materials.
“Daniel is an intelligent and mature young man who proved to be an asset to my office over the last several weeks. I appreciate his hard work and wish him the very best,” said Senator Fuschillo.
