Senator Fuschillo Announces New Online Job Resource Center

        Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) announced that he has created a new online job resource center to help assist residents who are searching for jobs. 

            “Searching for a job can be very stressful and frustrating, especially in this economy. However, there are many services offered by government agencies and non-profit organizations to help residents find employment.  The Online Job Resource Center gives residents a way to easily explore these services from one centralized location. I invite anyone who is looking for a job to take advantage of this service,” said Senator Fuschillo. 

            Senator Fuschillo’s Online Job Resource Center is a one-stop information center designed to inform job seekers about the services available to help them find a job, develop their skills, and prepare them to succeed. The Center provides information from numerous government and non-profit agencies about services designed to help potential job seekers, including: 

            * Job banks, job fairs, and civil service exams

            * Job searching tips

            * Job & career centers

            * Job & career training programs

            * Apprenticeship programs

            * Starting a small business
