Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) announced that he has created a new online job resource center to help assist residents who are searching for jobs.
“Searching for a job can be very stressful and frustrating, especially in this economy. However, there are many services offered by government agencies and non-profit organizations to help residents find employment. The Online Job Resource Center gives residents a way to easily explore these services from one centralized location. I invite anyone who is looking for a job to take advantage of this service,” said Senator Fuschillo.
Senator Fuschillo’s Online Job Resource Center is a one-stop information center designed to inform job seekers about the services available to help them find a job, develop their skills, and prepare them to succeed. The Center provides information from numerous government and non-profit agencies about services designed to help potential job seekers, including:
* Job banks, job fairs, and civil service exams
* Job searching tips
* Job & career centers
* Job & career training programs
* Apprenticeship programs
* Starting a small business
