Senator Fuschillo Kicks Off Annual “Extend the Holidays” Toy Drive to Benefit Children in Winthrop Hospital

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) today announced the start of his annual “Extend the Holidays” toy drive.

“Extend the Holidays” is a toy drive Senator Fuschillo organizes each year for the benefit of children in Winthrop Hospital. Toys are delivered after the holiday season, so that children can experience the joys of receiving a holiday gift throughout the year.

“This is a wonderful tradition which, through the assistance of the community, puts smiles on the faces of many children each year. I welcome anyone who is interested in participating in this program to contact my office,” said Senator Fuschillo.

Local residents and community organizations are invited to participate in Senator Fuschillo’s “Extend the Holidays” toy drive by making donations of new, unwrapped toys.
