Senator Fuschillo & Red Cross to Provide Free Citizen Cpr Course

Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) announced that he will be sponsoring a free citizen CPR course where residents can learn lifesaving techniques. The course, which is sponsored in conjunction with the American Red Cross, will be held at Merrick Avenue Middle School (1870 Merrick Avenue, Merrick) on Wednesday June 15th from 7 to 8 pm.
Participants will learn hands-on CPR training from a certified CPR instructor. Those in attendance will be able to practice CPR chest compressions on a mannequin. AED demonstrations will be also be performed.
There is no minimum age or prerequisites to participate. Those interested in taking part in the program must register prior to the event.
Residents interested in participating in the free CPR course should call Senator Fuschillo’s office at 516-882-0630 to register.
