Senator Fuschillo to Sponsor No Out-of-Pocket Cost Prostate Cancer Screening Program in Massapequa Park

          Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick), in conjunction with the Integrated Medical Foundation and Bostwick Laboratories, will be sponsoring a no out-of-pocket cost prostate cancer screening program on Wednesday, February 16^th in Massapequa Park.  

            Screenings will be conducted on February 16^th between 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm at the Massapequa Library (Bar Harbour Building), which is located at 40 Harbor Lane in Massapequa Park.   

            All men are welcome to get screened as part of the program, regardless of whether or not they have insurance. Screenings will include a digital rectal exam and a PSA blood test. Men who will be getting screened must bring with them a photo ID containing an address, such as a driver’s license. Participants will be notified of the exam results. There is no out-of-pocket cost to participate in the program. 

            Appointments are recommended but walk-ins will be accepted. Screening appointments will be scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Men who would like to schedule an appointment should call Senator Fuschillo’s office at 516-882-0630.
