Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) recently visited Mepham High School in Bellmore to thank students for once again collecting toys for his annual “Extend the Holidays” toy drive.
“Extend the Holidays” is an annual toy drive Senator Fuschillo organizes for the benefit of children in Winthrop Hospital’s Pediatric Center. The toys collected by the Mepham students will be delivered to the hospital after the holiday season, so that children can experience the joys of receiving a holiday gift throughout the year.
“Mepham’s students and staff once again did a tremendous job. Their hard work will help put smiles on the faces of many children. I greatly appreciate their efforts and thank them for participating in this program,” said Senator Fuschillo.
