Small business owners from across Long Island recently came to the Seaford Knights of Columbus to take part in Senator Charles J. Fuschillo Jr.’s (R-Merrick) annual Small Business Networking Expo.

Business owners who participated in the Senator Fuschillo’s Small Business Networking Expo were able to learn about a variety of different business assistance programs designed to help businesses grow and develop. Representatives from government agencies and non-profit organizations offered information about obtaining small business loans, accessing capital, and how to write a business plan.

In addition, business owners were able to network with each other to promote their businesses and exchange information and ideas. Local Chambers of Commerce were also on hand to offer information about the services they provide and the different opportunities that are available within their respective communities.

Small business owners who were unable to attend Senator Fuschillo’s Small Business Networking Expo but would like more information about any of these services can call his office at 516-882-0630 or email him through his website, fuschillo.nysenate.gov.
