With Hurricane Irene upon us, please take a moment to review the  website of the Nassau County Office of Emergency Management where Nassau County residents can get a host of local information, such as hurricane evacuation routes and shelters and important contact phone numbers: http://www.nassaucountyny.gov/agencies/OEM/hurricane/prepare.html.
