The Parkside Project
This autumn, neighbors and business owners are coming together to hold a contest for the best plan to redesign Parkside Avenue, located in the 20th district. Special honorary mentions will be awarded for the best entries by children and teens. For the full rules, further information and application forms are available at www.theparksideprize.org.
Senator Adams’ statement in response to the Parkside Prize:
“ Innovation and Creativity have allowed great people to accomplish great things. I am delighted to say that the Parkside Project design competition will spark ingenuity within my constituents in the 20th district. It will also be the beginning to reconstructing and revitalizing Parkside Avenue. I firmly believe that it is important for residents to take ownership of the beautification of their neighborhood. Together we can make a difference, one neighborhood at a time.”
