Senator Martins Attends Pride in Port Parade

On Saturday, Senator Jack M. Martins attended the Pride in Port parade, which ran along Main Street from Belleview Avenue to Schreiber High School. The parade was part of Pride in Port, which also featured the Hall of Fame Breakfast, the senior luncheon, Family Fun Day, the football game between Schreiber High School and Uniondale and the community dinner dance.
At the Hall of Fame Breakfast, six deserving individuals were inducted into the Schreiber Athletics Hall of Fame. They are: Carole Dunnels Miller, Margaret Garofalo Tomic, Joseph Marra, Elizabeth Nicholson Delan, Michael Ragusa and Lawrence Zaccherio.
“I congratulate each of the honorees. Their induction in the Schreiber High School Hall of Fame ensures that their accomplishments with will be enshrined forever,” said Senator Martins. “Pride in Port is a wonderful event that brings the community together. I was proud to be a part of it.”
