Senator Martins Collects Food in Manhasset to Benefit Island Harvest

Senator Jack M. Martins was in front of King Kullen in Manhasset on a recent Saturday for a food drive to benefit Island Harvest. After visiting Island Harvest earlier in the yearand meeting with President and CEO Randi Dresner, Senator Martins promise to hep replenish the food bank, especially as the holidays are approaching and the demand for food increases.
A total of 110 pounds of food was donated. “I want to thank King Kullen for allowing us to use the outside of the store and to all those who stopped by to generously donate a food item. It will go a long way towards helping Island Harvest provide the support they have been providing for so many years,” Senator Martins said.
