Senator Martins Congratulates Elmont Memorial High School's Cast of Footloose

Senator Jack M. Martins congratulated the cast and crew of Elmont Memorial High School's musical production of "Footloose" on their outstanding performance on March 4 and 5. The reviews on the musical were unanimous- it was sensational. Cast leads Joshua Johnson, Phylisha Mitchell, Brandon Cleveland, Cassandra Cesar, Kelsey Baffour and Joseph Smith, along with the entire cast, earned standing ovations at each of the performances this past weekend. "Everybody said the same exact thing about this performance- it was better than Broadway," said Senator Martins. "Congratulations are in order for the cast, crew, pit orchestra and all the parents and community members who were a part of the production. You made Elmont proud."
