Senator Martins Meets With Leaders From Nassau BOCES

Senator Jack Martins welcomed a group of Nassau BOCES students and staff at the State Capitol to discuss education and program funding for BOCES classes and initiatives. Principal James Clark led the delegation made up of Steve Witt, Sue Bergstrom, Shirlene Blake-Neil, Ryan Llanos, Joshua DaSilva and Cynthia Cruz-Melgran. "Programs like Nassau BOCES help all of our students reach as far and wide as they dream. Not only does BOCES offer non-traditional programs and services, but they offer critical skills for students in our community's schools. I was really glad to sit down and talk with all of them," Senator Martins said.
