Senator Jack Martins stopped by the Elmont clothing and toy drive this past Saturday and thanked students for working with the community and collecting needed clothing and toys for families in need during the holiday season. Senator Martins dropped off toys and contributed to the effort put together by Elmont students in the Class of 2012. Class President Candice Chatterpaul welcomed Senator Martins to the one-day drive and thanked him for his support of the effort. This is the second consecutive drive Senator Martins supported put on by the class. "The generosity of spirit that the young men and women of Elmont show us each and every day is truly inspirational. I can't thank the students of Elmont enough for their hard work and dedication for those who are in need," said Senator Martins.
