Senator Jack M. Martins recently visited the Apex housing complex in New Cassel. The complex consists of Apex I and Apex II, two buildings that were built in recent years by the Kimmel Housing Foundation to provide housing for senior citizens, workforce families and the physically challenged.
Senator Martins met with Kimmel Housing Foundation Chairman Howard B. Kimmel, President Roberta Treacy and Patricia Bourne, EVP, Planning. Among the topics discussed were opportunities for housing in downtown areas and the proposed Apex III for New Cassel.
Residents from the complex were then invited to ask Senator Martins questions. Representatives from the Kimmel Housing Foundation thanked Senator Martins for visiting and for speaking to the residents of the housing complex.
