Senator Jack M. Martins recently visited the Port Washington Senior Center to spend some time with the group. Senator Martins received a tour of the center and had the opportunity to see the various activities members are engaged such as art, quilting and Bingo.
Senator Martins was extremely impressed with the center and with the work the seniors do. “This is a wonderful organization that means so much to the community. It was my pleasure to visit. I hope to be back soon,” he said. “Visits like this give me the opportunity to hear what is on the mind of the residents and I can bring their concerns with me to Albany.”
