Senator Martins Welcomes 'The Shop' to Elmont

Senator Jack M. Martins welcomed "The Shop" Barbershop to Elmont this past week! Lifelong local residents Carl Achille and Paul Graziuso opened their new "family friendly" shop on Hempstead Turnpike near Valencia Gym and King Umberto Restaurant. Joining Senator Martins in welcoming the new store was Elmont Chamber of Commerce member Muzzio Talini.

Achille and Graziuso are lifelong residents of Elmont and graduates of Gotham Avenue, Dutch Broadway and Elmont Memorial High School. Achille also served in the armed forces overseas and is an active member of the VFW.

"I want to wish Carl and Paul the best of luck as they open 'The Shop'. I know they have the support of the entire community and I look forward to coming back and visiting with them soon. What makes these guys so special is the fact that they've grown up in the community, stayed here and are investing in its future. I am very proud of them and know they are going to be a great success," said Senator Martins.
