Eastchester Seniors Complete Internship with Senator Klein

Two Eastchester High School seniors recently completed the school’s Wise Individualized Senior Experience (WISE) internship program at the Office of State Senator Jeffrey D. Klein, (D-Bronx/ Westchester).

David Gogats and James Manning assisted Senator Klein and his staff with constituent service cases and community outreach.

“David and James are each smart young men with bright futures ahead of them,” said Senator Klein. “I thank them for their help and their interest in community service.”

Gogats will be attending Catholic University in the Fall. He said: "I never knew how many people actually contacted their state representative. It felt really great to help people on an individual level."

James Manning, will be attending George Washington University this Fall. He said: "It's amazing how much goes on behind the scenes in local government. It was very exciting to attend a local Eastchester Town Board meeting and see how government works."
