State Senator John J. Bonacic (R/I/C – Mount Hope) has been named a member of the New York State Farm Bureau’s “Circle of Friends” for his steadfast support of New York Agriculture and the issues that affect farmers.
“The Farm Industry is an important economic component of New York State,” said Senator Bonacic. “Agriculture is literally the bread and butter of our communities and protecting this essential industry is a priority.”
The Farm Bureau gave Senator Bonacic the "Circle of Friends" award based on his understanding of the importance of agriculture in his legislative district, and how the industry impacts the economy and the future of New York state.
"Farming remains this State's largest industry. Supporting our farmers means jobs not only on farms, but also in transportation, food processing, and at the retail level," said Senator Bonacic."I look forward to continuing to advocate for the needs of New York's agriculture community in this region and throughout the State," concluded Senator Bonacic.
