Senator John Flanagan (2nd Senate District) recently thanked Hauppauge resident Timothy Curran for volunteering his time as an intern in his district office. Curran, a senior this coming fall at Hauppauge High School, has been working in Senator Flanagan’s office in order to gain some experience in government before heading to college next year.
“Tim has been a great asset to me and my staff and I thank him for his help this year. We all really enjoy his efforts and look forward to working with him in the coming months," said Senator Flanagan.
Tim’s brother Matt also served as an intern in Senator Flanagan’s office in 2009 and is now studying at the University at Albany.
