Senator Serrano at Bronx Constituent Hours
José M. Serrano
July 20, 2011
Senator Serrano and his staff held their monthly Bronx Constituent Hours today at River Park Towers.
"While we do a tremendous amount of work out of our District Office in East Harlem, there is no substitute for direct interaction with my constituents here in the Bronx," said the Senator. The Serrano Constituent Services team holds roving hours in the Bronx each month, and on Roosevelt Island (RIOC Offices, 591 Main Street) on the first Tuesday of every month. No appointment is necessary.
"Too many individuals and families in the 28th District are impacted by the housing crisis, unemployment, and healthcare, as well other issues," said Senator Serrano. "I hope that by traveling to different locations each month we are able to reach those who may not be able to come to our office. We will continue to do all that we can to help as many constituents as possible, and a great part of that objective is to make ourselves available throughout the district.
