Senator Serrano participated in the annual reading of George Handel’s Messiah at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx. Music was performed by The Orchestra of The Bronx with The Bronx Opera Chorus and Soloists.
“It’s always a pleasure to serve as a reader for Handel’s Messiah,” said Senator Serrano. “The Bronx is so rich in Arts and culture and the Bronx Opera shines a spotlight on all the talent this great borough has to offer. Handel's Messiah is such an uplifting musical work of art that showcases the transformative and inspirational affect that the art and culture bring to our community."
