Senator Serrano joined community residents, environmental organizations, and other elected officials at Mill Pond Park for the second annual Harlem River Festival. The festival was hosted by the Harlem River Working Group, and included activities for children and residents to better educate them on the wonders of the Harlem River.
“This park brings much needed green space and waterfront access to the Bronx” said Senator Serrano. “Mill Pond Park is a great recreational space for families to come together, for children to play, and for the community to stay active. The Harlem River Working Group does a great job of encouraging the community to take advantage of everything this park has to offer, and this festival is the perfect example of their dedication.”
