Statement By Senator Peralta Regarding Swastikas Painted On Libraries, Synagogue in Queens

 "I often say that I represent the United Nations of senate districts.  Like my neighbors in Jackson Heights, I take great pride in our diversity and the respect and understanding we have achieved of the people and cultures from around the world that have come to call this wonderful area home.  We need to come together as a community and help the police however we can.  We also must stand together and denounce this kind of cowardice loudly and clearly."
