LaValle: Submit Budget Questions, I'll Answer

Kenneth P. LaValle

March 8, 2011

New York State Senator Kenneth P. LaValle sent an e-mail to constituents today asking what questions they have about the State budget.
The e-mail asks that questions be posted to the Senator's YouTube channel where they will be answered via video reply in about two weeks.

The Senator's e-mail to constituents is below, with the link for posting a question.

Dear Neighbor,

In the last month many of you responded to my community survey about the issues that impact upon your daily lives the most – the results of which I will release shortly.

Now it’s your turn to ask questions about the New York State budget.  You’ve no doubt heard about portions of the process and what may be in the budget or not. Here’s your opportunity to ask a question about something you want to know more about or need clarification on.

Please follow the link below to ask a question. I will then post a video answering the top 10 most popular questions as rated by the public.

As always, thank you for your time and for sharing your thoughts and concerns with me.

Sincerely,

Kenneth P. LaValle
NY State Senator
First District

“Those impacted by the budget deserve a chance to be a constructive part of the process,” said LaValle, Chair of the State Senate’s Higher Education Committee. “Public participation is key to crafting a state budget that reflects the values and concerns of  the First Senatorial District."
