Subject: Truth in Testing: A Comprehensive Look at Standardized Testing Security Procedures

Purpose: To investigate policies and procedures pertaining to the security of standardized tests
The Committee feels it is appropriate to hold a hearing to examine the circumstances surrounding the recently uncovered SAT cheating scandal at Great Neck North High School. The Committee will investigate how students were able to cheat, how often cheating is discovered, what procedures are followed when a breach i suspected, what can be done to prevent cheating in the future, and other issues the Committee deems appropriate.
