Zeldin Announces Senate Office Opening

State Senator Lee Zeldin (R,C, I – Shirley) announced the opening of his District Office, located at the State Office Building in Hauppauge. 

“I’m proud to say we’ve hit the ground running,” said Senator Zeldin.  “My staff and I have been meeting with constituents and organizations since shortly after Election Day in order to ensure a seamless, uninterrupted transition.”

“I have appointed Tom Croci as my district office director,” Senator Zeldin said. “I could not be more proud and pleased to have Tom joining my staff and leading my district office Team.  His deep roots on Long Island, his experiences both in the White House and on the battlefield, will ensure I have the best and brightest serving and fighting for my constituents.”

Tom Croci is a native of Bohemia and has returned home having served the past twelve years as a Naval Intelligence Officer and White House Staff member.  Lieutenant Commander Croci just returned from a deployment to Afghanistan supporting a Navy SEAL Team. He culminated his active duty service as Senior Duty Officer in the White House Situation Room, National Security Council (2005-2007) where he directly supported the President and National Security Advisor.  He was appointed to the Homeland Security Council Staff by President Bush where he served until the end of the administration as the Deputy Executive Secretary of the Homeland Security Council.  Tom was asked to stay on and serve on the Presidential Transition Team.  Tom maintains his service in the Naval Reserve as the Executive Officer of the Kennedy Irregular Warfare Center which provides deployed intelligence support to Naval Special Warfare (SEAL) units.
