Statement From NYS Senator Malcolm A. Smith on Attacks in Mumbai

 
“ I have the pleasure and honor of representing Indian Americans throughout Southeast Queens. I have traveled to India several times and I offer the citizens of India and Indian Americans around the world my deepest sympathy.
 
Mumbai is the financial capital of India, just like New York is the financial capital of the world. I trust that India will be guided by the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi to heal.
 
Today, I stand in unison and offer my total support for my fellow brothers and sisters of India.”
