Senator Golden Hosts Annual Senior Boat Rides
Brooklyn – State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, 22nd District), a member of the New York State Senate Committee on Aging, recently hosted two summer time boat rides for area senior citizens aboard the “Atlantis”.
Senator Marty Golden stated, “Our community is home to many senior citizens who look forward to events such as the annual boat ride so to enjoy the greatness of our City, our many landmarks, and our harbor. The two boat rides again this year were a great opportunity and a wonderful day out for all who participated. The sights and sounds of New York’s harbor were the backdrop to an afternoon of singing, dancing, refreshments and fun.”
Senator Golden was joined by Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R-C-60th District) for one of the senior boat rides.
