“On October 1st the judges, Frankie Marra, Nancy Liatsis and Joe Loposky will have a difficult time picking only 1 winner” said Al Asfazadour, AARP President of Chapter #5055. The talent is truly amazing. Last year we had 600 people cheering and screaming for their favorite star. The singers come from Dyker, Midwood, Bensonhurst, Bay Ridge and other parts of Brooklyn. It is really a wonderful community event that we look forward to each year.”
TD Bank provides the $500 prize, there is wine tasting by Longs Liquors, Connors and Sullivan Law Firm provide the programs and Circles is providing the winner with a gift certificate. This year we have invited the winner of the Teen Idol to perform.
