Senator Golden Honors Nypd and Fdny Officers for Response to Bay Ridge Apartment Fire

Brooklyn- State Senator Martin J. Golden (R-C-I, Brooklyn) honored police officers from the 68th Precinct of the New York City Police Department and Firefighters from Engine 241/Ladder 109 with certificates from the New York State Senate yesterday at a ceremony held at his district office.
The Police and Fire personnel were honored for their response to a March 20th apartment fire that took place at 7116-5th Avenue.
Senator Marty Golden stated, “Today, I stand here joined by the Finest and the Bravest of New York City who again, on behalf of our community, quickly answered an emergency call for help. I honor the courage of the men and women we see standing here today and on behalf of a grateful community, for their service on March 20th and every day, I say thank you. Thank you for allowing us to live safely in a great neighborhood.”
Paul Marrone, Chief of Staff to Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis, presented certificates from the New York State Assembly on her behalf.
“I thank Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis for sending a representative to be here today. I know she joins me in thanking our police officers and fire fighters for their service.”
