Senator Marty Golden Seeks Community Input to Repair Local Roadways

Brooklyn- State Senator Marty Golden (R-C-I, 22nd District), today is

announcing that he is seeking community input in an effort to repair local

streets and roadways in the coming weeks following the cold days of winter.

Senator Marty Golden is asking local residents and community organizations

to report the presence of potholes, street cave-ins, depressions and

streets which require paving.

Senator Marty Golden stated, “This is the time for us as a community

to focus our attention on repairing the condition of the streets on which

we live, work and attend school. By contacting my office and advising my

staff and myself of areas that need attention, both those of street

cave-ins and those requiring paving, we are making sure that all

pedestrians and motorists travel in a safe environment.”

Golden continued, “In the past, the residents of my district have

reported more than 200 damaged locations and through the efforts of this

project, these repairs were completed. Maintaining the integrity of our

infrastructure is very important and I look forward to hearing from the

community and working with the Department of Transportation to remedy the

dangerous conditions that exist to ensure the safety of all residents.”
