Shore Hill Housing Waiting List Opened, Lottery for 300 People

Senator Golden is pleased to announce that Shore Hill Housing Apartments are opening up their Studio waiting list to 300 new people. There will be a lottery for the spaces. In order to qualify applicants must be 62 years of age or older and have a maximum income of $34,740. Maximum occupancy for the apartment is one person. The maximum rent will be $909.

Interested persons need to send in a stamped, self address envelope no smaller than 9x4” to obtain an application. It needs to be namiled to Shore Hill Housing Associates, LP at 9000 Shore Rd, Brooklyn, NY 11209, Attn: Management Office/Application. Applications must be received by regular mail by October 27, 2011 at 11am.

Senator Golden stated “The Shore Hill Housing Apartments are an asset to the community here in Bay Ridge and I am pleased to report that the waiting list is being opened again. Services like the ones provided at Shore Hill help to keep our senior community strong and I look forward to these services being extended to a new group of seniors as the waiting list proves to allow.”
