Brooklyn - The Parish of St. Anselm's is announcing an upcoming event to continue the year-long celebration of their 90th Anniversary of service to the liturgical, educational, and social well-being of its parishioners, students and the greater Bay Ridge community.

The vibrancy of this community of Catholics is the result of the countless parishioners, students, teachers, sisters, and priests, both past and present, who have been part of the development and growth of the parish. As part of the 90th Anniversary celebration of the parish’s history, this event will provide an opportunity for parishioners and supporters of St. Anselm's Parish and School, to reunite and to mark this special year in Parish history.

All parishioners, past and present, and school alumni are cordially invited to an evening of memories and celebration on Saturday, November 19, 2011, beginning with a special Mass at 5:00 P.M. in the Church, located at 4th Avenue and 82nd Street. Following the Mass, a Wine and Cheese Reception will be held in Meletia Hall in the school located at 365-83rd Street.

Those able to attend the event are asked to respond by e-mail at stanselm@starcc.net or by calling the rectory at 718-238-2900. More information will soon follow about further events planned for the 90th Anniversary celebration.
