Congratulations Gertrude Shaffer, Recipient of the Global Educator Award

Senator Nozzolio authored a special legislative resolution honoring Gertrude Shaffer upon the occasion of her designation as recipient of the Global Educator Award. Gertrude Shaffer is an English teacher at South Seneca Middle School, where she teaches her students to become world citizens through her innovative “Human Rights” curriculum and her collaborations with the United Nations Department of Information and NGO Global Education Motivators. Senator Nozzolio applauds the hard work and dedication of Gertrude to enhance the education of the students in his Senate District.
