Senator Patrick M. Gallivan (R – 59th District) was joined by many of Livingston County’s local elected officials, members of the public, and a representative of Assemblyman Dan Burling Wednesday as he cut the ribbon on his new, one-room office at the Livingston County Government Center in Geneseo.
“Our goal is to provide comprehensive constituent service and effective representation to every resident across the four counties of the 59th Senate District. Locating an office in Geneseo will provide easier access to the resources available through a state senator’s office for all of our constituents in Livingston County,” said Gallivan.
The Senator’s office is located in the Livingston County Government Center, 6 Court Street in Geneseo. While Gallivan has not established a permanent schedule for the part-time office, he assures that the county will be well represented, “Our Livingston County Community Representative Annie Chwiecko will maintain regular office hours and I intend to be in Livingston County quite frequently.”
The ribbon-cutting was held in conjunction with the celebration of Livingston County’s 190th Birthday. Gallivan’s Livingston County satellite office will be shared with Assemblyman Dan Burling and operates at no additional cost to the taxpayers as it is located in government owned office space.
