Patty Ritchie
December 8, 2011
State Senator Patty Ritchie is bringing government closer to her constituents in St. Lawrence and southern Jefferson Counties, with two of her highly successful “Mobile District Offices” planned for Edwards and West Carthage next week.
On Tues., Dec. 13, Senator Ritchie and her staff will be at the Hepburn Library, 205 Main Street in Edwards, from 5:30 to 7 PM, and at the Town of Champion Board Room, 10 North Broad Street, West Carthage, Wednesday, Dec. 14, 6 to 7:30 PM.
Constituent Service staff from Sen. Ritchie’s staff will be on hand to help area residents with any issues they may be having with state or other government agencies.
Senator Ritchie’s “Mobile District Office” program has visited communities throughout Oswego and Jefferson Counties. This will be the first stop in St. Lawrence County, where she also maintains a first-ever, full-time Senate District Office in Ogdensburg.
“Earlier this year, I opened the first, full time Senate office in St. Lawrence County in over three decades,” Senator Ritchie said. “My staff and I have been helping hundreds of people at our offices, but it’s not easy for everyone to take time off from work to get there.”
“By holding this Mobile District Office after hours in Edwards and West Carthage, my staff and I will be able to help people get the answers they need from state bureaucrats,” Senator Ritchie said.
