Albany Demonstration in Favor of Traditional Marriage

State Senator Rev. Rubén Díaz is calling on all clergy and religious leaders to participate in the rally to support traditional marriage organized by the New Yorker’s Family Research Foundation.

“It is important to support Rev. Jason McGuire in this rally, which will take place this Tuesday, May 24, 2011, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM in West Capitol Park, Albany NY, (at South Swan St. and State St.),” urged Senator Díaz.

Among the speakers that Rev. McGuire has invited are Michael Long, Chairman, NYS Conservative Party, Duane Motely, Senior Lobbyist, New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedoms, and Edward Mechmann, Esq., Assistant Director, Family Life/Respect Life Office, Archdiocese of New York.

“I congratulate Archbishop Timothy Dolan, Rev. Jason McGuire, Rev. Duane Motely, Michael Long and Brian Brown from the National Organization for Marriage and every group and all those who are committed in their continued efforts to fight for family values,” stated Senator Díaz.
