Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has launched "Labor for your Neighbor," a Labor Day weekend effort to tap into the neighborly instincts of New Yorkers and rally volunteers to pitch in on local clean-ups of public and private property following the devastation of Hurricane Irene.
The National Guard and State Office of Emergency Management will supervise the effort. For more information about the recovery effort, and how to obtain assistance if you suffered losses from Hurricane Irene, please visit the Governor’s website.
