Help Bring Tide's Mobile Laundromat Service to Staten Island

It has come to my attention that Tide is helping those affected by Hurricane Sandy through their wonderful “Loads of Hope” program. Tide Loads of Hope is a mobile laundromat -- a fleet of vehicles, housing over 32 energy-efficient washers and dryers -- capable of cleaning over 300 loads of laundry every day. The Tide Loads of Hope team was on the ground in the Long Island/Rockaway area this week providing relief to families in need by washing, drying and folding one load of laundry per family per day. Tide partners with the American Red Cross who evaluates what areas would benefit from this service. Hurricane Sandy left so many Staten Islanders without homes, access to clean water, power or the ability to clean their clothes.
