I received the following update from The Red Cross today:

The Red Cross has provided the following services in Staten Island:

Tuesday, November 13:

24,841             meals and snacks served to residents            

384                  people contacted through in-person outreach to assess their needs including counseling and referrals to organizations and agencies including FEMA

 

To Date:

244,935           meals and snacks served to residents.

80,860             bulk cleaning supplies, toiletries and additional materials distributed

9,860               clean-up and comfort kits distributed

3,075               people contacted through in-person outreach to assess their needs including counseling and referrals to organizations and agencies including FEMA

 

Across the New York City region:

1,187,456        meals and snacks served to residents.

607,175           bulk cleaning supplies, toiletries and additional materials distributed

26,600             clean-up and comfort kits distributed

30,372             people contacted through in-person outreach to assess their needs including counseling and referrals to organizations and agencies including FEMA
