Andrew J Lanza

UPDATE: Please know that I've been working around the clock with federal, state, and local agencies to address the needs of Staten Island at this time. I've been in touch with many out of state companies who will be sending truckloads of whatever supplies we need in the next 24-48 hours. Please know that we have more than enough food, water, clothing and blankets at various locations across Staten...
Mount Loretto at 6581 Hylan Blvd. at Sharrotts Road - Open 10 AM – 5 PM
Miller Field at 600 New Dorp Lane - Open 24/7
Father Capodanno Blvd. and Hunter Avenue – Open 24/7
We are still in need of cleaning supplies including mops, rakes, bleach, contractor garbage bags etc as well as flash lights, batteries and hygiene kits (toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, toilet paper, wipes etc.) I know there are many who are still without power. Please know I have been working with ConEd and there are hundreds of crews out there working around the clock. One of the issues is that they can’t turn power on until they have ascertained the safety of the grid. A number of fires have started when power is turned on so please try to be patient and know they are going as fast as possible. I have observed the crews and I will stay on top of it. Gas has also begun to flow to Staten Island so that situation is working itself out. The supply was cut off because this country does not have adequate infrastructure with respect to providing adequate fossil fuel supplies. I have also been working to address the housing needs of the thousands who have been displaced. The devastation is wide spread but there are thousands helping. I will stay in touch.
