Senator Fuschillo and Assemblyman Mcdonough Congratulate Bellmore’s Small Businessperson of the Year

     Senator Charles J. Fuschillo, Jr. (R-Merrick) and Assemblyman David McDonough (R-North Merrick) recently congratulated Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores member Martha Verdi on being named a Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce 2012 Small Businessperson of the Year.

     Ms. Verdi is co-owner of Income Tax Plus, located at 1725 Bellmore Avenue in North Bellmore. For nearly 30 years, Martha and her husband, Joe, have been assisting residents with everything from income tax returns to estate planning and mortgage refinancing.

     "Martha Verdi is an active and dedicated member of the Chamber of Commerce of the Bellmores who has been serving the community for nearly three decades,” said Senator Fuschillo. “This is a well-deserved honor and I am pleased to congratulate Martha on earning it.”
